The Ultimate Housewife's Role

Many may Find that they like something on here and many may Not like something. You will have to pick and choose what will work for you and your family! But just keep this in mind as you read this. You are a homemaker, a housewife a househusband because you want to stay home and care for you family and i'm giving you some ideas on how to do this. Many did not get the training they need to care for a home and many today don't even know how to cook eggs let alone know where to start when it comes to running a household. So here is some ways to learn and improve!

  "some basic info"
The Oxford Dictionary of Current English defines housewife as "a woman whose main occupation is caring for her family and running the household." In today's modern society, there are fewer domestic engineers than there were one or two generations ago. Even so, more individuals (men can do this too,) are eschewing the 9-5 job and returning to this noble profession. Now, how one organizes and delegates the list of household duties is subject to each couple's understanding, their income level, the working spouse's job demands, and the respective talents of each spouse.  Most wives in the 1950's had one job: to be a homemaker. This meant wives must not only clean the house but also truly make a home. Being a homemaker in the 1950's meant caring for both your family and your house, as well as presenting yourself as picture-perfect throughout the day.  The roles of a housewife, more commonly called a homemaker, have orientated primarily around domestic tasks. A housewife concerns herself with various home-keeping work like raising the children, preparing meals and cleaning the house . However, the traditional roles reserved for a housewife have changed since the sexual revolution of the 1960s. Gender roles are changing, with more husbands contributing to housework and the raising of children. A housewife is the traditional female complement to the male breadwinner in a married couple. Housewives are women, although househusbands are becoming more common. These are men who don't work for a paycheck outside of the home, but instead focus their energies on caring for the home and its occupants. Exact housewifely duties vary depending on the individual desires and circumstances of the couple; however, there are some commonly accepted duties among housewives. Housewives play a huge role in their families . However, not everyone fits into the traditional housewife role.

There are many thing need to be done to keep a house going here is a list of them and when you are ready to tackle that task then you can go to the post about that subject.

    1. yes, but a lot of working parents let these things slide because they (understandably) don't have time or are too exhausted at the end of the day. i love my dad and he was a great (single) father, but our house was always a sty, i'm talking messy and dirty, and i ate take-out or fast food most of the time and was by myself most of the time as an 8 and on year old because he worked nights.

  3. I really reccomend the book Fascinating Womanhood!!! It is absolutely AMAZING. It works miracles!! They also have a version for single women called The Fascinating Girl. They are the best books on homemaking and honoring and falling in love with womanhood as a divine, important, role. It talks about being a "domestic goddess" and loving wife. I love it so much!! It was written around the 1950s-1970s and has been republished recently.
